Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in literature and math with the integration of the arts. Education is ever evolving as we enhance through the learning process and attempting to reach ALL students. What is equally evolving are the interests and diversity of my students. Teaching in a special education classroom has its own unique challenges but it is my mission to be inclusive to all.
Students will be given a flexible seating option using the bean bags to best support diverse learners while working on arts and crafts to create projects.
These art projects will be created using paper, markers, crayons, scissors and glue on paper and posters. My students are deserving of a creative outlet to express their learning in various ways. White boards will be used to show math problems and help express themselves with my non communicative students.
