This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are getting close to having enough ukuleles for every child in all of my 3rd-5th grade classes to be able to perform on the instruments. The plan is to have a ukulele unit beginning in January when we get back from winter break.

These ukuleles will get us one step closer to having every student be able to use a ukulele in class.

This is critical because the students would be able to utilize the entire class time allotted with an instrument, instead of having to share with each other.
