My Project
Our classroom is ready to slither into science with a hands-on exploration of rattlesnake anatomy—no real snakes required! With the Dissect-It Synthetic Rattlesnake Lab, my students will experience the thrill of dissection in a safe, clean, and age-appropriate way.
These realistic, reusable models allow students to explore the internal structure of a rattlesnake without the need for actual specimens.
It’s a perfect blend of science and compassion, sparking curiosity while respecting life.
Through this engaging activity, students will:
Identify key organs and learn their functions
Understand how a rattlesnake’s body systems work together
Practice using scientific tools and vocabulary
Build observation skills and confidence in STEM learning
