Please help me provide bags to my students for the summer! Summer break is something that everyone looks forward to, but it can sometimes cause gaps in learning. My goal is to create summer bags to help prevent my students from falling backward over the summer while also allowing them to have fun and be kids.
Providing these summer bags to students will give them a chance to review skills mastered in kindergarten and preview what is expected of them in first grade.
The books included in these bags will help bridge the gap between K and 1st grade. Chalk and crayons will be fun for them to practice sight words and basic math facts. The bags would not be complete without bubbles and Play-Doh to help with fine motor skills!
