Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are unbelievable kids. They are leaders in the school and in our community. They put in a ton of time an effort, often conditioning before school throughout the winter and lifting after school. In addition, they take their school work seriously. Our program boasts many honor roll students.
In addition to their hard work and dedication, our students volunteer at park districts across the city to help youngsters learn and appreciate the game of baseball.
This demonstrates their ability to be positive mentors.
My Project
Donations will help our baseball team with its annual costs. Having new pants is a must each year due to wear and tear at practice and games. Taking care of this cost will greatly help our players and their families while representing our school positively.
When you look good, you generally gain confidence which allows our players to perform well.
The new uniforms will give our players a big sense of confidence when they take the field as well as give them pride in their hard work and dedication. Having new pants will carry them to success on and off the field.
