Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We have been studying living things in science. We are investigating microscopic life and cells in an effort to understand more about the world we live in. We have been creating slides in our investigation of living things. These have been good, but not near the quality needed for my students, especially the upper grades, to learn about the complexity of cells. I would like to broaden my students learning by ordering some prepared slides, so that we can look at bacterias, viruses, and human cells, in addition to professionally prepared slides of things we have investigated in class. Unfortunately we have been unable to purchase what we need through school. These slides would provide an invaluable experience for my students. These opportunities will help to better prepare them for the science challenges they will have as they move through their school careers. Please help me provide a top-notch science curriculum for my students. Many thanks!
