A good night sleep is critical for preschool students to be able to function and learn at school. While I cannot control how they sleep at home, I can control how well they sleep during nap at school. For most of my students, a good nap is just as critical as a good night sleep.
Unfortunately, after several years of use, most of our class rest mats are ripped and torn leaving students exposed to the cold, hard ground making it hard to sleep through nap time.
These new mats will allow for a continuous rest time for students, while also being an appropriate size for them to learn independence in getting them out and putting them away.
