Skulls of the Past

Help me give my students various models of skulls to study how organisms evolve and change over time.

My Students

My students are amazing. My students come from many different cultural and economical backgrounds. Over 50% of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunches.

We have a variety of different learning styles to cater to.

Many of our students are English Language Learners and have communication barriers to overcome. We have a high percentage of special needs students that need extra help. Many of our students have difficult challenges that they face every day, but they still have the desire to learn and do their best.

My Project

One very important concept in Biology is the study of how organisms change and adapt as environmental conditions change. Having the ability to examine models of fossils can help us understand how some of these species have evolved. Usually student only get to study these concept by looking a pictures in a text book or online.

Using these models students will be able to compare and contrast different physiological features of similar species to see how they may have adapted and changed over time.

These models will give students get a hands-on experience looking at different skulls of organisms.
