This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 2nd grade students have worked so hard. They have learned many skills and are finishing this year in the classroom strong. They showed tremendous growth despite the difficult, less then ideal previous years of virtual learning. These books and writing materials will allow my students to strengthen their Reading and Writing skills while on summer break. Each student will get a book to read and notebook for journal or free writing. Continuing to use Reading and Writing skills during the break will ensure they’ll be prepared for the upcoming school year.
