Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for reviewing my essay. I currently teach in a school in Connecticut. My classroom has six students in it and I am a self-contained, special education teacher. My students have significant social emotional needs. They are truly loving, kind and caring students. I want a chance, with the help of you, to be able to give them the classroom that they deserve. Some of them have challenging lives and I want the chance to make their classroom and school days magical.

I plan on using everything that I hopefully get, to work on cool projects with them that will help them with their social emotional learning goals.

The bean bag chairs specifically, will be used in my therapeutic corner of my room, complete with comfy rugs as a place where they can go that is safe and be able to regulate their emotions.

Skies of Blue is what I want them to feel when they are in my classroom' special, loved, safe and cared for.
