This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to provide each of my students with a personal sketchbook to use in my classroom. These will be used both as a learning tool and as a social-emotional support tool. For example, we might use these sketchbooks in a STEM challenge to diagram an idea, but we will also use them to doodle during our read-aloud, which helps students focus and calm down any strong feelings they may have.
My students love having their own sketchbook to express their creative ideas and process their emotions at school.
