This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their curiosity and willingness to grow. As IB Art learners, they are becoming true inquirers—eager to explore, ask questions, and develop mastery over new tools and techniques. It’s inspiring to watch them light up as they experiment and make connections through their art-making.

Unfortunately, we currently lack the materials needed for meaningful exploration.

With this project, students will gain access to paints, inks, printmaking tools, and sculpture supplies—resources that will help them build skills, meet IB Diploma requirements, and create ambitious, competitive portfolios with confidence.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
