This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the upper elementary grades, students need a place to keep their thoughts, designs, ideas, and to sketch.

Sketchbooks will give my students the opportunity to keep their thoughts, notes, and ideas in one place for art class.

Artists throughout the world and throughout history have had some form of a sketchbook or journal to collect their thoughts, to write down ideas, and to sketch and design. For almost every other subject, there are notebooks readily available. Having a sketchbook of their own gives them the independence and responsibility to keep their art ideas in order.
