By providing each of my students with sketchbooks, they will have a place to create their project ideas, take notes, and work on drawing exercises. Sketchbooks are an integral part of my curriculum.
As we study the elements and principals of art, students can use their sketchbooks to write notes during my presentations and draw their ideas for the next step.
In addition, they are able to personalize their sketchbooks on the cover and demonstrate their creativity by designing their own cover.
These sketchbooks are used throughout the year and on a daily basis for drawing fundamentals, sketches, gluing in worksheets on the pages and personal use for extra drawing activities.
