Help me give my students materials (a book-making machine, cardstock, and binding material) to create their own sketchbooks for drawing and journaling!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are fun-loving, smart, and hardworking! Our students come from all across the city to participate in the unique ELL (English Language Learner) New Arrivals Program, and ASD program, both specific for grades 6-8.
My students come from all different backgrounds to create a positive learning environment, where they will be encouraged to brainstorm, collaborate, and create works of art.
It is truly a unique urban setting.
Students at our middle school take an art class for an entire school year as a required elective and specials class and range in different skill levels and abilities.
My Project
This quarter, I would like to have my students in all grade levels focus on sketching and journaling. My students love sketching and drawing with our art challenges but have a difficult time storing their drawings safely.
I would like for my students to be able to each create their own sketchbooks/journals to utilize both in and out of my classroom.
By making their own sketchbooks/journals, my students will be able to express their creativity and also have a sense of ownership of their art materials. It will be something private for them to use and not something I grade them on.
Journaling is a great way to reflect upon one's thoughts, goal setting, and a creative outlet.
I hope by using these journals, it will help my students find an outlet for self-expression where they can communicate their feelings and incorporate artwork and creativity. I am hoping that my students will be able to use these markers, scrapbook papers, and washi tape to express their creativity in their new journals.
Journaling is a great way for self-reflection, planning and relates to Social-Emotional learning which is one of our focuses for this school year. I plan to use the journaling supplies with my students to incorporate restorative justice methods, which is a new focus for this year.
