Help me give my students items to succeed during hybrid and virtual learning!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. O'Grady's classroom raised $341
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are eager to learn and to create. This will be my second year teaching at this school, but my sixth year teaching in Philadelphia. I am looking forward to continuing to build a strong art program here.
The school population is very diverse.
We serve students from a variety of cultural backgrounds with a variety of needs. We have a few autistic support classes, and many of our students are learning English as a second language. My art program serves at least three homerooms of kindergarten through 8th grade, totaling about 750 children.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to create in person or at home. As we enter hybrid learning this coming school year, we will need to use our creativity to display our students’ work. The laminating sheets will help me be able to do that. The 3 hole punch paper and brass tacks will be used to create individual sketch books for each student. The sketchbooks will be able to be used either at home or in person. Sketchbooks will allow students to practice their drawing skills, brainstorm their ideas, and work through the creative process to create their final masterpiece.
