This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting sketchbooks that I will be able to provide my art students with to enjoy in the art room and class needs. Sketchbooks are places they can do class activities, journal their thoughts, and have a safe space to work out ideas. Art students can use in the art studio, but will be encouraged to take with them to use at home as well. The sketchbooks become a living document saving their thoughts and art brainstorming as well as record keeper for the class experiences.
