Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the things that has helped many artists during this time is to be able to have time set aside to draw and create. Often artists have what’s called a “sketchbook” that has all of their notes, doodles, sketches, and sometimes even finished art pieces. Often students will say “I don’t know what to draw” --- This will help! Students practice drawing, and keep track of ideas, notes, etc. in their sketchbooks. Sometimes you need to push yourself even if it’s something new or challenging and Art is about problem solving and creativity! Students will feel free to explore, create, and add color and enjoy their sketch books!
