My Students

My students are an energetic group of children that love to learn. They enjoy exploring new concepts that have a hands-on component. They love cooperative learning in small groups and taking charge of their own learning.

My classroom consists of children from military families and families that work on a military installation.

Education is important to these families. The future is in my classroom and has the ability to go around the world as my students move to other communities.

My Project

A large, colorful rug that shows each child where to sit will make a wonderful difference in how well they interact during our large group teaching times. Our classroom has bare floors. This is very difficult for little ones.

We spend a lot of time on the floor with calendar time, interactive play, story time, and other listening times that require the class to be seated together.

Little ones struggle to stay in their space and sit properly. The bare floor makes it even more difficult.

Please help my students make the most of their learning time in Pre K with the gift of a new carpet. Thank you!
