Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items will be used in the art classroom. I see all 400 students each week. The art trailer gets very dirty with all of the foot traffic. The mop and dust broom with help to clean the classroom each week.

I recently had a stay in the hospital and these supplies will go a long way in providing comfort and much needed cleanliness in my classroom.

Our school system has been in transition with cleaning staff. I have been cleaning and sanitizing the tables and art supplies. However, the floor needs a lot of work.

The chair is going to help me as I have a tall standing desk in the art classroom. I do a lot of standing during class and use a stool when I do sit. This drafting chair will be a big help with being about to see the class as I am sitting to draw using the document camera. This way all students are able to see the example on the board.
