Students walk into our classroom knowing that we are a family. Everyone is appreciated, safe, and loved. Students are excited for the opportunity to be the best student that they can be. The diversity in our classroom provides a unique learning environment where we are learning from each other academically and socially.
The classroom is a dynamic and diverse group of students who come from many different cultures to make our classroom family an exciting one to be a part of.
Their energy for learning is contagious and I feel lucky to be their teacher.
My Project
I have had flexible seating in my classroom for over a year now and we have struggled with the best way to accommodate the floor workers. Many students love to sit on the floor and identify that as their best learning space but sitting all day with no back to lean against can be tough for them!
For my learners our flexible seating has been a wonderful learning opportunity and I would love to make floor seats a better all day option.
That is why I am hoping to bring in floor seats that have a back for them to lean against as they continue to learn in their ideal learning environment.
