My Project
If given the lab stools requested, I believe that my students will enjoy science lab more. Lets face it, 8th graders do not like to stand when working in the lab. They want to sit so that they can focus on the lab procedure and have fun hands on learning. Without a seat, they get tired and loose focus very quickly. Not having enough seating in my lab area to accommodate all of my students makes it very difficult because it's not fair that some students' have a seat while other do not. I also have some students with disabilities that require a seat because they cannot stand for long periods of time. I truly want all of my student to enjoy coming to science class and doing many hands on experiments. Having these stools will make this a reality.
