Well, it's come time for a new classroom rug! A first grade classroom rug needs two things to be successful. First, there needs to be a dedicated "spot" for each student. This keeps personal space at the forefront, and consistency in routine. Students know exactly where to sit so that they can learn and grow! The rug should also be darker colored. The paint, and chalk, and other art supplies always find their way to the rug, so the darker colored rug keeps it looking "cleaner". This rug will provide the two key components of a fantastic first grade rug, and it's well made. I know it can last 10 years, just like the one before it!
