My Students

My students are a group of middle school students at a charter school who love to learn both visually and through hands-on engagement. These kids love to learn by working with their hands and becoming engaged in the activities that we are doing which means we do projects whenever possible. We receive only 70% of the funds available to district schools, so we rely on other means to help us fill the gaps.

My students learn best when they can actually work with an item that expands on the concepts they have heard about through lectures in class.

My Project

We have multiple seats in the classroom for students to sit in. We use a special chair when we are presenting our work to the class.

My students love to have a special chair for days when they are presenting to the class.

I am asking for a special chair for the students to use for days when they present their projects to the class. Sometimes we sit in small groups to present like it is a board room in a business. This chair would be used by the student presenting to the "board" of the company.
