This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to collaborate with each other. They show up to our virtual class every day with their bright smiles ready to share ideas and support each other's learning. They are an amazing group of young leaders, scientists, athletes, innovators, creators, and writers.
My enthusiastic students are always eager to experience and learn new topics every day.
They are a very diverse group, with students from different cultures all working towards striving their individual goals in the class. They work hard and enjoy challenges!
My Project
Your donations will go to support my students when we come back to the classroom by creating a comfortable sitting area for students to read.
The flexible sitting will be used to create a reading area where my students will use them to read and discuss their readings in groups.
Each day students will unite in their group and discuss a reading. The main chair will be used to remind students of the weekly leader in the reading discussion. Not only will students use the chairs to comfortably read but to support them in their specific roles in the discussions.
What better way to learn than by giving my students the opportunity to collaborate in an area that consists of comfortable seats.
