My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting time for my little kiddos to blossom into lifelong learners. I have so much passion for teaching and nothing brings me more joy than being with my kindergarten students! It takes a big heart to shape little minds!

What happens in Kindergarten lasts a lifetime!

My heart is so full when I am in the classroom. I can not wait to meet my new group of students!

Our students are diverse and come from many backgrounds and ethnicities. Many students are new to the country and are learning English. We have 2 programs at our school. The ESL program and the STEP program servicing children with autism.

My Project

This year we have many new guidelines in our classroom because of the pandemic . We can no longer share supplies or have anything with cloth inside our classrooms. I now need to replace some of my cloth cubes that were used as alternative seating in my classroom. These padded stools will provide comfort as I teach in small groups. The seat sacks will allow each child a place to store their own individual materials, since we can no longer share items. They will be used to store my students items right at their seats. Things they will store in these seat sacks are items such as clipboards, dry erase boards, workbooks, reading books, markers, journals, etc. They will help minimize clutter on tables and floors and make classroom management a breeze! Each year students tend to get colds or experience seasonal allergies. The Kleenex tissue will provide a soft comfort to their littles noses! The wipes will allow my students to have any easy clean up after doing messy projects!
