My Students

We LOVE getting together for circle time, but not all of our friends have a spot to sit on!

My class is a group of 25 kindergarteners in a suburban Michigan school.

Nearly all of the students in my class qualify for free lunch and therefore come from low-income families that cannot provide them with the enriching activities that they get at school.

My Project

My students need 1 8 ft x 13 ft Animal Alphabet carpet for the group meeting area. We currently have an alphabet rug in our room, however our class has so many students in it, that we don't all fit! We'd love to have a place for all of our friends to join us for our morning meeting and whole group activities. The children will be able to see the easel and actively take part in learning if they all have a place to sit.

By donating to this project, you will ensure that a child is not missing out on learning in the classroom.

The children will all have a sense of community if they are all able to sit together and not have one of their classmates feel left out because there isn't any room for them on the carpet.
