My Project
I have been given the wonderful opportunity to teach third-graders who love to learn! My students are witty, enthusiastic, and excited to learn. Third grade is a great year where students are learning fractions, multiplication, writing more complex pieces, and beginning state testing requirements, and my students are ready for the challenge!
Recess time is a favorite time of day for many students, and we like to eat our snacks outside, but we don't have anywhere to sit.
Having picnic tables for our class would allow students to sit in the shade and enjoy their daily snack. We also don't have any shade, so the umbrellas that come with the tables would be very beneficial on hot days. The tables would be placed by our playground area, so every class from grades 2-5 would be able to enjoy them when they go outside.
