Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology has become a daily part of students' lives. On computers, students have tests to take, reading and math intervention sites to practice on, and regular reading, writing, and math curriculum work to complete. Due to those expectations, it is important that students are given the necessary tools to help them be successful and the use of headphones during computer work are excellent tools to have. Some sites read the text to the students, so the use of headphones will help lessen potential distractions and keep the students focused on their tasks.

In our school we have center activities, so some students will not be on the computers when others are.

These students could be working collaboratively at tables or on comfortable floor seating. I like to give my students an option to do work where they're most comfortable, and sometimes that is on the floor. The floor seating is a different way for students to work together, as well as another option for others who are doing independent computer work.
