My Students
I teach at a Title I school, in North Miami, where most of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are faced with many challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges, I have an amazing class of 25 kindergarten students, who are eager to learn and explore.
My students are creative, curious, motivated, full of energy and deserve to have access to all the materials necessary to be successful.
My goal is to ensure that my students have all the tools that they need in order to be successful in school.
My Project
My students need headphones, kindle reader and lap tables for their technology center. I'm trying to create a technology center. I just received the great news that my students project for chromebooks was just funded. I need headphones to prevent distraction and make learning personal to each student. Students without headphones are easily distracted by other student's talking or computers audio. I want my students excited about learning by creating a technology center. A place that has laptop seating and will engage students in learning. A place to listen to stories on the kindle reader.
Headphones are a valuable tool needed to be successful in the classroom.
Currently, only a few of my students have their own headphones. I need headphones for all my students. Help me create a space where student can sit, listen, and learn. Thank you for your support!
