My Project
My students are eager, imaginative, and full of joy. As first graders, they spend much of their day on the classroom carpet — listening to stories, learning new concepts, sharing ideas, and building friendships. Our classroom truly comes together in this space.
However, our current carpet is worn, stained, and not large enough for all of us to sit comfortably.
A new carpet will give us a clean, welcoming, and organized place to gather every day. With clear spaces for each child, it will also help with personal space and behavior expectations during learning time.
A large, high-quality carpet will make a huge difference in how our classroom feels — warm, structured, and inviting. It will support whole-group instruction, morning meetings, partner work, and read-alouds — all essential parts of early learning.
