My Project
Adaptive seating provides PreK students to engage more actively in their learning. By offering various seating options, such as wobble chairs, cushions, or bouncing chairs, children can choose the position that helps them focus and stay engaged. This increased comfort leads to better concentration, fewer distractions, and more opportunities for hands-on learning and creativity.
The goal of this project is to create an inclusive, flexible learning environment where every child can thrive.
By implementing adaptive seating, we aim to support each student's unique learning style, increase their participation, and improve their overall academic and social development. We also hope to foster independence by giving students a sense of ownership over their learning space, encouraging them to make choices that best suit their needs.
Our PreK students are full of curiosity, energy, and a natural drive to explore the world around them. They each come with unique learning styles, abilities, and needs, and they all benefit from a classroom that adapts to those differences. These children are in their early stages of development, where the foundation for their lifelong learning is built, so it’s crucial to provide an environment that supports their growth in a way that encourages engagement, creativity, and social interaction.
