My Students

My students come from primarily immigrant households and often have their first exposure to MANY learning experiences within our school, from playing with LEGOS to a trip to the Bronx Zoo.

My children are bright, motivated and hardworking.

They enjoy new experiences and are active explorers who want to discover the world around them and make sense of it!

Our immediate community is disadvantaged and we have few resources. They often have difficulty accessing the opportunities that others take for granted.

My Project

These easy to store, brightly colored stools will allow my students a literal seat at the table. They will give my student the option of choosing where to sit and when to sit during their independent workflows.

The stools will allow them to choose when and where they would like to sit and collaborate with their peers during their workflow in my computer science lab.

This gives them the flexible seating to pick up and go from station to station when working on projects.

Due to limited spacing, it is important that these are stackable and relatively light for my students to tote around. Help them get started working!
