My Project

Our special needs classroom serves students in grades K-8 in a rural Title I district in North Carolina, where resources are limited but the needs are great. Many of our students face challenges with sensory processing, attention, and physical comfort that impact their ability to learn and participate fully in daily classroom activities. We are seeking donations to provide Ergo Bounce Cantilever Chairs—specialized seating designed to gently support movement while promoting stability and focus. These chairs will create a more accessible, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student has the tools they need to succeed.

Each student deserves a seat that meets their individual needs and helps them stay engaged in learning.

With these chairs, we can help students improve posture, reduce anxiety through safe movement, and increase attention to tasks. Our goal is to equip our classroom so that each child has appropriate seating that allows them to participate confidently and comfortably. In a special needs setting, especially in a rural area where therapeutic resources can be scarce, simple tools like adaptive seating can make a life-changing difference. Your support will directly impact our students’ ability to focus, interact, and thrive.
