Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are active learners and enjoy learning in alternate areas within our special education classroom. Every item on this list has a home in our classroom and we need your help to get them in our classroom. These items will allow all my students to have alternate flexible seating options to best support their different learning needs. The sensory items will support my students needs when they may become overstimulated. The organizational and office supplies will help my assistants and I when we create interactive and adaptive activities for students who are tactile learners.

These donations will help my students become engaged in their learning and will allow them to improve academically and independently.

By utilizing these flexible seating options, each student will explore the best way they enjoy learning and completing their work. As a first year teacher, these items will not only create a flexible space for my students but it allow me to stay organized and differentiate for all my students.
