My Students

My third-grade students are enthusiastic, diverse learners. Most of them are just beginning their educational career, and are looking forward to gaining knowledge in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. They are excited to experience everything third grade has to offer.

My students are often working against hardships to become successful learners.

Most come from low-income households, and many are English Language Learners. They are striving to develop new skills in spite of these challenges. They work hard and are excited to learn!

My Project

There are so many reasons why every classroom needs whiteboard tables. I think of these tables as having a giant piece of butcher paper and all of the Post-it notes in the world. Students will be able to jot down ideas or vocabulary that they need to remember immediately. They can just quickly write on the table without having to grab their notebooks. When working in groups, they will all have access to the table as they brainstorm. I can sit with them and we can work on on any subject.

Students prefer writing on whiteboards over paper so this table is sure to be a favorite.

They love to interact with whiteboards so this table will engage students even further with the content of all subjects. And let's be honest, they write on the desks anyways so why not encourage their creative side.

The stability ball chairs will be perfect for those students who have trouble sitting still. These chairs will allow them to sit much more comfortably while getting all of their wiggles out. Together with the whiteboard tables, this will provide a perfect option for my students.

Thank you for supporting my classroom.
