This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each item in this project is designed to support both academic success and classroom culture. Water bottles help my students stay hydrated and focused throughout the day, reducing distractions and encouraging healthy habits. Pens and pencil holders give students a sense of ownership over their materials, keeping their work organized and boosting confidence. Stickers and lip balm will be used as positive reinforcement, celebrating effort, creativity, and kindness, small rewards that make a big impact on motivation and morale.

My goal is to create a learning environment that is both functional and inspiring and by providing my students with essential supplies and fun incentives, I want to help them feel prepared, valued, and excited to learn.

This project also supports our classroom economy system, where students earn rewards for positive behavior and academic effort, teaching them responsibility and financial literacy in a hands-on way.

My students are incredibly resilient, curious, and kind. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to everything we do. What makes them truly special is their willingness to support one another and their eagerness to grow—not just academically, but as people. They thrive when given the tools and encouragement to succeed, and this project helps provide just that.
