This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year winds down and the days get warmer, one thing remains just as important as ever—keeping my students hydrated, focused, and ready to learn.

Throughout the year, I’ve stocked up on water, Gatorades, and juice pouches to make sure my students have access to drinks when they need them.

Whether they’re recovering from P.E., staying after school for tutoring, or just trying to stay cool during warm Oakland afternoons, having drinks available helps them stay alert, energized, and comfortable.

But now, with just weeks left in the year, my supply is running low.

This project will help me refill our hydration station with water bottles, Gatorade, and juice so students don’t have to choose between thirst and learning. These small drinks make a big difference—especially for students who may not have consistent access to these things at home.

Help us finish strong and stay refreshed through the final stretch of the school year!
