This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This Bose speaker will make any space come to life for our students while learning to sing selections and then perform them in a concert setting. We utilize different areas in the school to learn music. This device is very mobile friendly.

My goal is to make rehearsals more exciting for my students.

This in turn builds momentum and enjoyment. When all are comfortable there is growth and confidence. When rehearsals are of a higher quality, they more resemble real performances. I am hoping that students will shed some nervousness about performing by making a regular routine of "performance-like" rehearsals.

My students come many different backgrounds; some having to overcome walls. This is a great way to build self-esteem.
