This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the past few years I have had many students who are unsure of themselves and most particularly, their singing voice. They are afraid to speak up when we use poetry for musical concepts and they are timid to sing- even along with their classmates. I am hoping to help them find courage.

My students need encouragement to use their voice to speak and sing with confidence.

These fun, colorful karaoke speakers will give my students a reason to use a microphone as they build their self-confidence for singing with others and speaking to a group.
