My students attend a large urban high school in a predominately low socio-economic neighborhood.
I usually provide many of my students with supplies, such as notebooks and pencils, but am not able to give them every resource out there. The majority of my students are English Learners who will be the first in their families to go to college. They are highly motivated students who will go the extra mile to achieve their goals.
My Project
An exciting interactive notebook helps the students better understand the concepts in math. The notebook is not only fun, but it also simplifies concepts for everyone to understand. In essence, they will be creating their own version of a textbook that they can actually understand. The students will be better prepared to study for quizzes and tests. They will be using their notebooks in future classes to review concepts and really understand.
Please help create interactive notebooks that inspire students to attend class and learn the tough Algebra concepts in a fun and engaging way.
