My Students

How many times do we hear our students say that school is boring? I want to create a classroom which is inviting and interesting for my students, and that motivates them to want to come to school!

I teach Project Lead the Way, a technology-based program at a school in Southern California.

The area in which my school is located is an area of poverty where parents are always working and cannot afford school supplies. My students have a genuine love of learning.

My Project

My students are in a digital world. They use a lot of technology, but sometimes forget the simpler things in life, like creating a poster.

With these materials my students will get to color, and create posters about historical events that they are learning about.

Of course, with markers come mess. They will use the baby wipes to keep clean and tidy up!

My students will also enjoy motivational posters that will keep them motivated to succeed and do their very best. Often times they forget, and can become discouraged. These posters are a great way of motivating them to keep trying.
