Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm thrilled to introduce our Earth Day-themed project, designed to empower my second-grade students as environmental stewards through hands-on learning. With your generous support, I aim to create an enriching educational experience that blends creativity, technology, and exploration.

Your contribution will help provide my students with essential materials such as LEGO building plates, wheels, and axles.

With these resources, they'll have the opportunity to construct simple machines that promote Earth Day conservation efforts. From water pumps to wind turbines, these models will foster an understanding of sustainable technologies and inspire eco-friendly innovations.

Additionally, I'm requesting antistatic wrist straps to enhance our project further. With these straps, students can safely utilize our Makey Makey devices, bringing their Earth Day posters to life through interactive technology. This integration of art and technology will deepen their engagement and understanding of environmental concepts.

Your support will not only enrich the educational experience of my students but also instill in them a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship. Together, we can empower these young minds to make a positive impact on our planet. Thank you for considering a donation to our Earth Day project!
