My Students

Have the arts ever had a big impact on your education? If they did, in a positive way, think of why that impact was so memorable. I work at an Indiana school that uses arts integration to enhance student learning, primarily during our reading block. We visit our specials, or methods, teachers who create and empower student learning through the arts. My 3rd grade students are a very outgoing and curious group that pushes me to be more like them every day (in a good way). They are very fortunate to be at a school that gives them the opportunity to be curious and creative all at the same time.

My Project

Now that I am working at an Arts Integration school, I want to continue supporting my students through creativity. I feel that it is important to model the expectations and inspire our students to enjoy school. My hope with having this machine and the other resources is that I will be able to create amazing things for my classroom and show them how creativity is something to be celebrated. I also hope to make personalized materials in the classroom to better support my students and show them how much I love being their teacher!
