My Students
Orchestra class is unlike any ordinary class. Aside from the obvious signs of the class not having the traditional chair and desk look, the students in my class are unlike any other. To be specific, the orchestra students always are enthusiastic, even on the gloomiest days and are always filled with positive energy.
However, our music department is a true exception.
Our combined choir and instrumental programs have produced phenomenally talented young adults and leaders who strive to inspire countless audience members. It is difficult to distinguish them as ordinary high school students at first glance, yet little do you know how much they are empowered through the arts.
My Project
My students are hard-working musicians and are constantly practicing to get better at their instruments. However, for their folks at home, this could be a bother since their instruments are not exactly extremely quiet.
With violin mutes, my students would be able to practice freely without causing a distraction in their household.
By having violin, viola, and cello mutes, my students would be able to improve immensely and almost immediately since they would be able to practice later in the evening without opposition. Our program will grow and improve by increasing the students' practice times with the use of violin, viola, and cello mutes at home.
