Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students today have distracting lives; at my school they contend with all the pressures of life, learning, friends, and technology. The goal for this project is to eliminate one controllable distraction that has been breaking their concentration.
Soundproofing the room will eliminate a significant obstacle to learning!
The band room is right next to academic classrooms, and providing us soundproofing will allow 9th grade science students and pre-K students in nearby classrooms to hear themselves think. Thinking is important! This addition will also help band students cut down on echoing in their classroom for a better sound quality.
