My Students

I am the proud teacher of 50 fabulous fourth graders. These students are excited to learn and love to interact with each other and me. They come from many different backgrounds and represent cultures from around the globe. They have different experiences and a variety of teaching styles during their years in elementary school.

My Project

These materials will be used to along with established math games to allow my fourth grade students to play during remote learning. These games will help to improve students' understanding of grade level math skills and number sense as well as to create a sense of community among my young learners.

Math games also promote social skills such as turn taking, questioning, listening, winning, losing and making mistakes.

Games allow students to have fun while learning, practicing or reinforcing math skills. They will be able to work with other students using language skills.
