Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach incredible students in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) classroom at a Middle School. My students inspire me every day with their perseverance and creativity as they work hard to overcome challenges related to learning differences, autism, and emotional needs.

As their teacher and case manager, I handle many sensitive documents, including IEPs and confidential student information.

These must be disposed of properly to protect my students’ privacy. Right now, I spend too much time managing paperwork instead of focusing on what matters most, supporting my students’ learning.

With a reliable micro-cut shredder, I can securely destroy sensitive documents while freeing up valuable time for lesson planning, small-group instruction, and individualized interventions. This tool will help ensure my students’ information is protected, while giving me more time to provide the support they need to thrive.
