My Students
What is your why?
While many students at our school come from high poverty backgrounds, the challenges they may face on a daily basis have not affected their passion for learning.
At our school, students come from a low socioeconomic background. 100 percent of students receive free lunches, indicating that their families are at the federal poverty level.
As educators, we strive to create an environment that is relevant and engaging to our students. We work our hardest to provide students with experiences that will encourage them as learners and fuel their desire to learn. It is important that these students have resources and activities to set them up for success.
My Project
Let's help my students show what they know with an Apple TV and other resources!
Educational technology like an Apple TV will help to enhance my students learning experience since it will allow students to share directly from their ipads and mirror their work to our board.
Students often work on their IPads in our class and it will be great for them to be able to share their digital work with the class. This will especially be great for our math class where students work through problems.
The other resources will also be used by students in our class, such as for creating task cards for students to show their understanding of a concept and basic pencils and sharpers for students who do not have it.
