Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school strives to engage students to become problem solvers. Every child has capabilities and talents and has the strengths to become a problem solver. It just takes some motivation. The students in my class strive to achieve daily.

I will use these materials: graphing sticky notes, bins, and printer ink to provide a hands-on learning experience for my students.

The ink will be used to print instructional materials and student graphing projects for display.

Ink is an essential supply in our classroom. We use ink daily and unfortunately, it goes very quickly. Having ink gives my students the opportunity to print out their best. Thank you in advance. My students will be able to use these materials individually to better their understanding of the 8th-grade math standards.

With these new materials, my students will be able to choose from a variety of ways to express their thinking independently.

They will be able to share their thinking with other students in the class.

My students will be able to use the graph paper sticky notes to express their thinking as a group. Their work will be displayed in the room to show students different ways to solve the problems.
